Privacy Policy for VoiceSafe

VoiceSafe is designed to analyze suspicious voice recordings for fraud, impersonation, scam pressure signals, and synthetic voice indicators. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and what choices users have.
Last updated: 2026
Applies to: VoiceSafe web platform
Focus: fraud analysis & security workflows

1. Overview

VoiceSafe provides AI-assisted analysis of suspicious voice recordings and related case metadata. The platform is intended to support fraud awareness, investigation workflows, and risk assessment.

VoiceSafe is not intended to replace legal, compliance, or law-enforcement judgment. Users remain responsible for ensuring that any recording uploaded to the platform is collected and processed in compliance with applicable law.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how the service is used, VoiceSafe may process the following categories of information:

  • Audio or video files uploaded for analysis.
  • Transcripts generated from uploaded recordings.
  • Case metadata entered by the user, such as title, platform, country, language, tags, and notes.
  • Technical metadata such as IP address, browser type, device characteristics, and request timestamps.
  • Authentication or account-related information where sign-in features are enabled.
  • Local browser storage values used to improve product behavior, preferences, or session state.
VoiceSafe is designed to minimize unnecessary collection. Users should avoid uploading more personal information than is needed for fraud analysis.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information processed through VoiceSafe for the following purposes:

  • To analyze uploaded recordings and generate fraud-risk, clone-likelihood, and scam-signal outputs.
  • To display transcripts, explanations, matched cases, or case-linked intelligence results.
  • To maintain service availability, debugging, abuse prevention, and platform integrity.
  • To improve detection quality, system calibration, and platform security.
  • To support enterprise workflows such as audit review, case search, or internal fraud investigation.
  • To comply with legal obligations or respond to legitimate security incidents.

5. Retention

VoiceSafe may retain uploaded information only for as long as necessary to provide analysis, operate the service, support case workflows, maintain security, or comply with applicable law.

In prototype or minimal-storage modes, uploaded files may be deleted shortly after analysis. In enterprise or case-management workflows, selected metadata and analysis outputs may be stored longer for audit, fraud review, or investigation support.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only in limited circumstances, such as:

  • With infrastructure or service providers who support operation of the platform.
  • With enterprise customers or authorized investigators using VoiceSafe within their environment.
  • When required by law, court order, regulation, or valid governmental request.
  • To investigate abuse, fraud, platform misuse, or security incidents.
  • As part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer, subject to applicable safeguards.

7. Security Measures

VoiceSafe uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect processed information against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or misuse. These may include access controls, transport security, upload validation, application logging, and infrastructure hardening.

No system can guarantee absolute security. Users should avoid uploading highly sensitive information unless they have an appropriate legal basis and secure workflow for doing so.

8. Audio Uploads & Analysis

By uploading a recording, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that doing so does not violate privacy, surveillance, employment, or criminal laws in the relevant jurisdiction.

VoiceSafe may analyze uploaded material using automated systems that generate transcript, scam phrase detection, fraud risk scores, speaker fingerprinting, and similar case comparison outputs. These outputs are estimates and may not be fully accurate.

Users should not rely exclusively on AI-generated output for legal, regulatory, employment, or financial action without appropriate human review.

9. Cookies & Local Storage

VoiceSafe may use browser storage technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, or similar mechanisms to preserve user preferences, analysis state, interface settings, feature flags, authentication state, or rate-limit logic.

These technologies may be necessary for the application to function properly or to provide a smoother user experience.

10. User Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent.

Where VoiceSafe acts on behalf of an enterprise customer, requests may need to be directed to that organization first.

11. Children’s Privacy

VoiceSafe is not directed to children and is not intended for use by minors where prohibited by law. We do not knowingly design the service to solicit information from children.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be reflected by an updated date and, where appropriate, additional notice.

13. Contact

For questions about this Privacy Policy or privacy-related requests, please contact the VoiceSafe team through the contact channel listed on the platform.
